Personal exhibition of the artist Petro Hrytsiuk «Painting, graphics»

From December 24 to January 9, the exhibition hall of Madame Palmgren Art Gallery will host an exhibition of graphics and paintings by Peter Gritsyuk. The creative concept of the artist is based on simple, clear things by popularizing well-known values ​​and achievements in the artistic way of depiction, so that there was an opportunity to think, comprehend, draw some conclusions. At the same time, the goal of ambiguous interpretation of the content is pursued. Graphic works are created in the author's manner, which is called «Graphic craquelure». According to the artist's own definition, graphic craquelure is a style of graphics, which is characterized by the predominance of curved lines, which together create the illusion of cracks (craquelures). Petro Hrytsiuk was born on November 7, 1979 in the village of Mykulychyn, Yaremche Region, Ivano-Frankivsk Region. By profession a lawyer, in his spare time engaged in art, writes poetry. He has held a number of solo exhibitions, both in Ukraine and abroad (Greece, Canada, Hungary, Romania), participated in national and regional exhibitions. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Winner of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prize named after Yaroslav Lukavetsky in the field of fine arts, winner of the prize named after Mykola Domashevsky in the field of literature and art. Honorary citizen of the village of Mykulychyn. Member and partner of the «Portal of Independent Artists», member of the literary and artistic association «Zgarda» and the association of artists «Art Brotherhood». Author and organizer of creative events of the all-Ukrainian patriotic art project «We have a single destiny - her name is Ukraine».
