Dr. Hugo Schaufler
Prof. Gugo Shaufler. Renowned architect, watercolourist, painter and social activist. Was born in Povolzhye in 1928. In the year of 1941 as a German was deported with his family to the Altai.
Graduated from the Ural Ural Polytechnical Institute, where he studied architecture. Captured his glorious name as an architect in the Crimea, who contributed to the preservation of cultural and historical heritage of this region.
In the world of art Shaufler wellknown as an excellent watercolourist with his unique style. Member of the Artists’ Union of Ukraine, professor. The leading Teacher of the Crimean Art College of M.S.Samokysh, founder of the art studio of Gugo Shauffler. Held over 40 solo exhibitions all around the world.
