Evgeny Petrovich Manishin

Born on March 31, 1946, in the city of Lvov. Graduated from the Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1972). Teachers in the specialty: D. Krvavich, E. Misko, V. Ovsiychuk. Painter. The author of landscapes, still lifes, thematic paintings in a peculiar realistic style, in which, due to the rich tonal palette, the methods of applying colors, the soulful expression of moods, the virtuosity of the artist's stylistics follows. A significant part of the work was devoted to the Shevchenkoians. In the landscapes created under the influence of trips to Shevchenko's places, in his own way I felt the atmosphere of the places, sacralized by the folk imagination. Honored Artist of Ukraine (2002). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1989). Worked at the Lvov art and production plant (1969-1985); at creative work. Participated in exhibitions: regional, republican (since 1970). Personal exhibitions - in Lvov (1990, 1996, 1999, 2000, 2006, posthumous - 2010), Prague, Odessa (1998), Kiev (1999, 2006), Kanev (Cherkasy region, 2001). "Cyril Chapel on the Territory of the Astrakhan Kremlin", "ManGishlatsky Garden" (2003); series - "Flowers" (1996); cycle - "Landscapes of Shatskaya" (1997). Some of the canvases are kept in the National Museum in Lviv, MEKHP (Lvov), room - in the T. Shevchenko Museum in the Lviv Palace of Arts.
